Meet m/s Festival

At It Takes a Village, we’ve spent the last few months preparing our very first project, and it’s now underway! We’re transforming an old car ferry from Norway into a beautiful houseboat for a client and their family – complete with space for both a home and a creative home studio.

The ferry is now at a shipyard in Northern Jutland, where the hull is being inspected, and the main structure will be sandblasted, treated, and insulated. Once this phase is complete, we’ll begin the interior works to bring this vision to life.

It’s such a joy to see our first project taking shape – we can’t wait to share more updates along the way!
